The Carolinas Senior Women's Amateur Championship began in 1999. The championship determines the senior women's champion of the Carolinas. NEW IN 2023: The 1st Carolinas Super Senior Women's Amateur will be held concurrently with the Carolinas Senior Women's Amateur. Both championships are conducted at 36 holes of stroke play. The competition includes gross and net scores and prizes are given for gross and net winners in each flight. Players are pre-flighted within their championship based on Handicap Index®. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 50th birthday by October 25, 2023 (Carolinas Senior Women's Amateur or who has reached her 65th birthday by October 25, 2023 (Carolinas Super Senior Women's Amateur), maintains a residence in North Carolina or South Carolinas, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.
