2023 CGA Women's Mashie Championship

Championship Dates: Monday, May 22 - Wednesday, May 24

Entry Fee: $400 per team. Players have the option to split payment between teammates at registration.
Field Size: 96 teams (192 players)
Note: Championship is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time. If a Championship is oversubscribed, a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellation.

Championship Flight: 5,400 - 5,600
All other Flights: 5,100 - 5,300
Format: 4- Ball Matchplay – Each team is guaranteed two days of golf. Partners play their best ball against the better ball of the other team. Each flight has a consolation bracket for teams losing in the first round matches. All teams will play each course the first two days, with final matches for the day two winners being played at Highlands Meadows GC on day three. Only winning teams from day two move onto day three. Teams forfeiting their first match will not be eligible to compete in consolation round matches. Matches that are tied after 18 holes will be extended to determine a winner. Teams are flighted according to team combined handicap index with approximately eight teams per flight.
Handicap Index Details: 30.0 maximum.
Note: It is recommended that the partners play within six strokes of each other. If the difference between the two Playing Handicaps is greater than 6, the higher Playing Handicap will be reduced accordingly. All players will compete at 90% of course handicap.
During matches, the Playing Handicaps of all four players will be reduced by the Playing Handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who shall then play at scratch. The other players are allowed the difference. All flights play with handicap except championship flight.

Starting Times: Tee times beginning at 7:30am at each course.
Carts/Caddies: Carts are optional, included in the entry. One cart per team. Caddies are not allowed.
Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded within each flight to the winners, runners-up and consolation winners. Championship flight winners receive team trophies in addition to merchandise gift certificates.

- Highland Meadows GC Practice Rounds – Tee times are subject to availability, can be made 7 days in advance by calling the golf shop at 970-204-4653. Pricing: Weekdays $65. Weekends $75. Including cart and small bucket.
- The Olde Course Practice Rounds – Tee times are subject to availabilty, can be made by calling the golf shop at 970-667-5256 or online HERE. Pricing: Rack Rate.

Electronic Scoring: Scoring will be completed through your mobile device.
Food & Beverage: Lunch will be provided following the first two days of play, included in entry.
Score Posting: Scores from match play events will NOT be posted by the CGA. The player may post their own score at the end of a round. The Tournament Director will always provide the applicable slope/rating for posting purposes.
