ELIGIBILITY

• Open to VSGA members of all ages.
  • Parents are defined as anyone who is a parent, grandparent, step-parent, or guardian of the child.
• All participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA member club in good standing.

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE

All teams (two players) are required to submit an entry form with the entry fee of $160 by Monday, July 31, 2023.

• Entry fee includes all course fees (including cart) for all rounds of competition.
• The VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice fee with host club.

 

FORMAT

• 18-hole, two-person captain's choice competition.
• Teams will be divided into age groups based on the youngest person's age.
• Players will be placed on a set of tees based on their age.

 

Sets of Tees

• Males ages 16-49 – approximately 6,570 yards
• Males ages 50-64 – approximately 5,868 yards
• Males ages 13-15; Females ages 16-49 (HI 9.9 or below); Males ages 65 & Over – approximately 5,492 yards
• Males & Females ages 12 & Under; Females ages 13-15; Females ages 16-49 (HI 10.0 or above); Females ages 50 & Over – approximately 4,677 yards

 

 

FIELD SIZE/TOURNAMENT MAKE-UP

• The field will be limited to 100 teams (200 players).
  • 50 teams (100 players) will play in the morning shotgun.
  • 50 teams (100 players) will play in the afternoon shotgun.
• If the number of entries exceeds the maximum allowable entrants, the field will be determined by date of entry. A waitlist will be created for teams exceeding the maximum field size.

 

PRIZES

• A trophy will be awarded to an overall winner (may come from either shotgun and division).
• Additional prizes will be awarded to age group winners and runner-ups.
