ELIGIBILITY

Open to female golfers who have not reached their 20th birthday by July 8, 2023 and did not graduate high school prior to 2023. Participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA Member Club in good standing and meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status. ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE

All participants are required to pay an entry fee of $105 which includes all course fees for both days of competition and lunch for both rounds of competition. In addition, the VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice round fee with the host club. A completed entry form, accompanied by the entry fee must be received by Monday, June 26, 2023.

FORMAT

54-hole stroke play competition (18-holes per day). The field will be cut to the low 20 players and ties following round two.

Championship Division: July 6-8
Intermediate Division: July 6-7

Girls will have the following division options upon signup:

Championship Division
Yardage: 5,800-6,000 yards

Eligibility: Ages 14-19

(Recommended for players who consistently shoot a score of 95 or below)

Intermediate Division
Yardage: 5,300-5,500 yards
Eligibilty: Ages 12-19

(Recommended for players who consistently shoot a score of 95 or above)

The overall champion must come from the Championship Division. Girls age 13 and under are encouraged compete in the VSGA Youth Championship (see separate entry form for details).

FIELD SIZE/TOURNAMENT MAKE-UP

The field will be limited to 120 players. If necessary, the field will be selected by lowest Handicap Index.

PRIZES

The overall Junior Girls' Champion will receive a prize and will have her name engraved on the Ann Lewis Trophy. The overall runner-up and third place in the Championship Division will receive a prize. Overall winner and runner-up in the Intermediate Division will also be awarded prizes.

CADDIE INFORMATION

Players may have a caddie, but he/she must meet the same age requirements for the tournament as the player.
