2023 CDGA Am/Am Handicap

Format

• 18 Hole Stroke Play, best ball net
• Approx yardage: 6259 yards
• Field limited to 48 teams
• 85% of handicap will be used
• Handicaps indexes as of August 28,2023 will be used
• In the event of a tie for first place, the WHS recommendation will be used to break the tie

Eligibility

• Must be a male member of a full-service OGA member club
• Must have an active WHS handicap index

Fee

• $180. Practice round not included
• Includes: cart fee, range
• No refunds after the deadline unless submitted with a medical excuse
• All refunds are subject to a $10 service fee

Rules

• Rules of Golf will govern all play except for local rules approved by the CDGA

Carts

• Golf carts and caddies are permitted
• Players may carry clubs if host club permits

Caddies

• A player must not have another player who has or will compete in the same round as his or her caddie during the round. Penalty for breach of Local Rule: The player gets the general penalty for each hole during which he or she is helped by such a caddie. If the breach happens or continues between two holes, the player gets the general penalty for the next hole. Modern Local Rule 8H

Tee Times

• Requested groupings and tee times cannot be guaranteed
• Starting times will be sent via email to contestants approximately one week in advance and may also be found on CDGAGOLF.org

Notes

• This event is purposefully scheduled at the same time and venue as the CDGA Am/Am Scratch and due to different tees being played, you are only permitted to enter ONE of the events
