Format
- Championship field size is 176 players (88 teams)
- Round 1 (18 Holes) – Monday, September 11, 2023
- Round 2 (18 Holes) – Tuesday, September 12, 2023
- Division
- Overall Gross – play will be from the back tees
- Senior Gross – both players must be at least 55 years old on or before September 11, 2023. Approximate yardage: 6,600
- Super Senior Gross – both players must be at least 65 years old on or before September 11, 2023. Approximate yardage: 6,000
- Net (One division with two tees) – Ages 19 – 64 approximate yardage: 6,600. Ages 65 and over approximate yardage: 6,000
- Handicaps will be adjusted to the proper tee for each player based on their age
- Winner of Overall Gross division is exempt for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ohio Amateur
Eligibility
- Must be male resident of the State of Ohio
- In order to pay the member fee, one member of the team must have an active WHS Handicap Index at an OGA member club
- A resident is defined as meeting four (4) of the nine (9). 1. Ownership or leasing of Ohio residence 2. Proof of payment of utilities at property for which residency is being claimed 3.Ohio homestead exemption declared on residence 4. Place of employment in Ohio 5.Ohio Driver’s License 6.Ohio Vehicle registration 7. Ohio address listed on federal income tax return filed by player 8. Has a WHS handicap at a golf club in Ohio. 9. Voter registration in Ohio

Fee
- $470/team Member fee. $570/team Non-member fee.
- Practice rounds will be based on availability and can be played by calling Rattlesnake Ridge GC and scheduling a tee time between August 1 and September 10. Fee will be $60, cart may be additional. Call: 614-410-1399
- Range use, cart fees, and lunches included for Monday, Tuesday
- No refunds after the deadline unless submitted with a medical excuse
- All refunds are subject to a $15 service fee
Caddies
- A player must not have another player who has or will compete in the same round as his or her caddie during the round. Penalty for breach of Local Rules: The player gets the general penalty for each hole during which he or she is helped by such a caddie. If the breach happens or continues. Between two holes, the player gets the general penalty for the next hole. Modern Local Rule 8H
Shoes
- Players may not wear the following shoes:
- Traditional spikes—that is, spikes having single or multiple points designed to penetrate deeply into the surface of the ground (regardless of whether made of metal, ceramic, plastic or other materials
- Spikes of any design that are entirely or partially made of metal, if such metal may come in contact with the course penalty for breach of this Local Rules: See Rule 4.3. Modern Local Rule G-7

- List of Conforming Driver Heads: Local Rules as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures in in effect. Model Local Rule G-1
