Practice Round
June 12th is considered the designated practice round day. The practice round fee is included in your entry fee. Players will contact Carey Park Golf Course pro shop directly. Call (620)-694-2698 to schedule your practice round.
Eligibility
Male and female junior amateurs with an active GHIN number with Central Links Golf member club and who lives in CLG territory (state of Kansas or Kansas City metro area).
National Recognition
This event has AJGA PBERS Status and is also recognized by Junior Golf Scoreboard and WAGR.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$120. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 6th at 11:59 pm.
Format
54 holes of individual stroke play within five age divisions for boys. 54 holes of individual stroke play within one age division for girls. Following 36 holes there will be a cut to the low 15 and ties in each age division to approximately 100 players. Overall Champion to be determined (boys and girls). The event may be shortened to 36 holes if weather cancels either round. Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each age division (boys and girls) and an Overall Champion for the Boys and Girls division.
Boys Divisions
Five Boys age divisions:
- 14 & Under
- 15 age
- 16 age
- 17 age
- 18 age
Girls Divisions
One Girls age divisions:
- All Girls
Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:
- 6600 yards (Boys)
- 5700 yards (Girls)
Defending Champions
In 2022 at Ironhorse Golf Club, Olathe's Will King captured the Boys Junior Amateur Championship while Kinslea Jones from Wichita was victorious in the Girls Junior Amateur Championship.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are not allowed for junior events sponsored by Central Links Golf. Spectator carts may be available at the discretion and price determined by the host club. Caddies are not allowed for this championship.

Registration
Registration is required for this championship. Please check in at the Registration table before you tee off on the practice round day (June 12th). Players will be asked to sign a Player Scroll as a gift for the host club.
Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.

When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
