Eligibility
Open to all male amateur golfers regardless of age or affiliation.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$325. Deadline for entry is Friday, June 02, 2023 at 11:59 PM. Maximum field size is 54
teams. Eight team spots in starting field reserved for Masters Division teams until May 13.
Format
36 holes of four-ball stroke play (gross scoring only). Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
Qualifying for Heart of America Four-Ball Match Play Finals
The top 8 available teams from the final results of the Open Division of the Kansas Four-Ball Championship will be invited to participate in the 2023 Heart of America Four-Ball Match Play Finals to be held August 2-3 at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, KS. More information on qualification, format and paying the team match play entry fee will be made available to the qualifying teams.
Divisions
Two age divisions:
- Open (players of any age)
- Masters (both players age 30 & Older)
Practice Round
Eagle Bend Golf Course is a public facility. Practice rounds are available at the discretion and fee set by the host club. Please call (785) 748-0600 to arrange a practice round.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for the championship as part of your entry fee. Only one cart is allowed per team.
Caddies are allowed for this event and the actions of the caddie during the round are the responsibility of the player (Rule 10.3c). This is the default position for caddies for Central Links Golf events, but availability may vary from event to event or any other factors affecting this policy. Caddies are allowed to ride on and operate the golf cart, provided space is available. Central Links Golf has a strict two carts per group policy and the carts are reserved for the players first. If a group has more than one caddie, arrangements must be made within the group to accommodate the cart policy.
Spectator carts will NOT be available.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.
Hotels
Tournament participants are invited to stay at the following hotel for the rate detailed below. Please mention the group name to receive the preferred rate.
No hotel block available for this event. Players/teams that will need hotel lodging are strongly advised to make a reservation ASAP at a Lawrence hotel. There is a large AAU National Girls Volleyball Tournament going on in Lawrence this weekend that will likely fill up all hotels.
Method of Payments
Eagle Bend Golf Course accepts cash or credit card for all purchases.
When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
