QUALIFIER FORMAT

18-holes, individual stroke play

 

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to professional golfers, amateur golfers, and applicants for reinstatement. Amateurs and applicants for reinstatement must have an up-to-date Handicap Index® based on ratings for men not exceeding 1.4 under the Rules of Handicapping.

 

A current Handicap ID number (GHIN) issued through an authorized golf club is required and must be submitted on the entry form. The USGA accepts an up-to-date Handicap Index issued from authorized national and regional associations around the world, that would be equivalent to a Handicap Index within the prescribed limit for entry into the Championship. For this Championship, any reference to gender applies to all genders.

 

QUALIFIER SPECIFIC INFORMATION

  • This is a walking only qualifier.
  • Players may bring their own caddie - none are available through the host club.
  • Players may carry their own bag.
  • Pull carts are approved, consult with the host club pro shop regarding availability to rent a pull cart.
  • The Memorandum to Players, containing the final information for this qualifier, will be released and sent to players via email immediately following the close of entries for this Championship.
  • Practice rounds must be scheduled via this website with instructions to be provided in the Memorandum to Players (see above). DO NOT CALL THE HOST CLUB TO SCHEDULE PRACTICE ROUNDS.

 

LIVE SCORING VIA GOLF GENIUS APP

Live scoring will be utilized via the Golf Genius mobile app - players are instructed to download via their smartphone's app store (search "Golf Genius") in advance of their arrival to their starting hole.
