ELIGIBILITY

• Open to VSGA members of all ages.
• All participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA member club in good standing.
• All participants must meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE

All players are required to submit an entry form with the entry fee of $225 by Monday, July 17, 2023.

• Entry fee includes all course fees (including cart) for all rounds of competition.
• The VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice fee with host club.

 

FORMAT

• 18-hole on-site stroke play qualifying
• Low 16 scorers qualify for Championship Flight and will be seeded by score
• Remaining players will be flighted and seeded by score into flights of 8

 

Championship Proper

July 25 – Stroke play qualifying

July 26 – Round of 16 and Quarterfinals for Championship flight / Quarterfinals and Semifinals for all other flights.

July 27 – Semifinals and 18-hole Final match for Championship flight / Final matches for all other flights.

 

PRIZES

• The overall champion's name will be engraved on the Kohler Trophy.
• The stroke play medalist's name will be engraved on the Ann Pollard Trophy and receive a VSGA medal.
• The Champion and Finalist in the Championship flight will receive gift certificates and trophies.
• Championship flight Semifinalist and players who make it to their final match in all other fights will receive gift certificates.
