91st Four-Ball Championship

Monday, April 27 - Cedar Hill Country Club, Livingston
Tuesday, May 2 - LBI National Golf & Resort, Little Egg Harbor
Wednesday, May 3 - Oak Hill Golf Club, Milford
ELIGIBILITY:
Entries open to teams of two male amateur golfers who meet ALL of the following:
- Entrants must possess UNQUESTIONABLE Amateur Status.
- Entrants meet ALL of these Handicap and Membership Requirements:
- When combined, the team’s total USGA Handicap Index cannot exceed 14.0, as of the close of entries.
- Both players must be listed on the official GHIN Handicap roster at a NJSGA member club/course as of close of entries.
- Both players must maintain good standing and remain on the above named GHIN Handicap Roster through the Championship proper.
- If entering from a public facility, or Club Without Real Estate, entrant must be a permanent resident of New Jersey. Proof of residency may be required.
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
Four-Ball, Stroke Play to Four-Ball Match Play. 36 teams of two players will comprise the Championship field which will include teams exempt from qualifying, plus those teams that advance from the qualifying sites (plus ties). One, 18-Hole, Stroke Play qualifying round will be played on Tuesday, May 16; the low 16 teams will advance to two days of Four-Ball Match Play on Wednesday and Thursday, May 17-18. All matches 18 holes.
QUALIFYING ROUND FORMAT:
18-Holes, Four-Ball Stroke Play. Capacity at each qualifying site is limited; enter early. The number of teams (plus ties) that will qualify for the Championship will be announced in advance of the first qualifying round.
TRANSPORTATION:
Motorized transportation is PROHIBITED throughout this Championship.
Caddies: Permitted; a player may bring his own caddie – or where available, reserve a club caddie.
Pull/Push Carts: Refer to specific Player Information Sheet for host club’s policy.
FINAL DECISION REGARDING ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE NJSGA. THE NJSGA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT OR WITHDRAW AN ENTRY AT ANY TIME, BEFORE OR DURING A COMPETITION OR MODIFY THE CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM ANYTIME, IN ITS DISCRETION.
