10th Massachusetts Super Senior Amateur Championship

Practice Rounds

Dates:

  • August 22nd - Before Noon
  • August 23rd
  • August 26th - After 1:30PM
  • September 9th - After 1PM
  • September 19th
  • September 23rd - After 1:30PM

 

Notes:

  • Please call the Pro Shop (508-923-5711) to schedule a practice round within the windows noted above. 
  • The cost of a practice round is a mandatory $26 cart fee. 
  • Each competitor will be limited to 1 practice round.
  • Competitors MUST call in advance - no walk up times will be allowed. 

 

Format: 36-holes stroke play (18 holes per day). The field will be cut to the low 70 players and ties after Round 1.  In the event of a tie for Champion in either division, a hole-by-hole play-off will commence immediately following the close of competition. The Legends Division will comprise of any qualified competitors age 70+ (as of Sept. 27, 2023). All Legends Division competitors will also be competing for the overall championship (playing the same tees)

 

Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the Championship sites. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

Golf Carts & Push Carts: The use of automotive transportation (golf carts) is permitted. Carts are Included in the Championship entry fee. The use of push/pull carts is also permitted.

 

Caddies: Competitors may use a caddie during all rounds of the championship. Note: No more than two carts per group are permitted, regardless of the number of caddies in a group. 

 

Course Set-Up: Course yardage and par is subject to change due to weather and other factors. The yardage will be similar to the LeBaron Hills CC GREEN tee yardage - 6,200 yards - Par 72. 
 

 

Practice Range: Will be open and available before Round 1 & 2 at 7:00am.

    • Lunch is available at the player's expense.

 

Score Posting: All scores from individual stroke play events (qualifiers & championships proper) will be automatically posted to a player’s Mass Golf/USGA Handicap Index by the Mass Golf staff.

 

Prizes: The Super Senior Amateur Trophy will be presented to the Champion.
