Welcome to the 40th Oregon Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, June 21 - 24 at Pumpkin Ridge – Witch Hollow. This year the Senior Women’s Amateur will once again be ran concurrently with the Men’s and Women’s Oregon Amateur, which begins June 19th. Combining these two championships has allowed us to highlight senior women’s golf, culminating a week that celebrates the history and traditions of amateur golf in Oregon. The OGA is very thankful to Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club for hosting this year’s championship!
Attached you will find your starting times for the stroke play qualifying round on Wednesday, June 22nd. You will be competing in an 18-hole qualifying in order to determine the low 15 qualifiers for the championship bracket. There will be a playoff immediately following play on Wednesday in the event of a tie for the last qualifying spot and for medalist. All other scores will be put in a consolation bracket. A drop flight will be generated for those that lose their first-round matches. The defending champion, Lara Tennant has agreed to assume the #2 seed in match play.

REGISTRATION: Players are required to register on Wednesday June 21st. Registration will be located outside near the Witch Hollow Clubhouse and will be available from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm.
PRACTICE ROUND: Players may call the Witch Hollow Golf Shop at 503-647-4747, at any time to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds can be scheduled on a space available basis and after 1:00pm on Sunday June 18. (Practice rounds may also be scheduled on either Monday June 19th or Tuesday June 20th. Note times will be available in the afternoon at approximately 5:00 pm, or after the men's and women's fields have made the turn. Please contact Zane Balmoja at champintern@oga.org to make arrangements.) Contestants are eligible for one complimentary practice round. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. You must identify yourself as an Oregon Amateur Championship contestant in order to receive your free practice round. Players who wish to use their practice round are expected to abide by all club rules including pace of play.
CADDIES: Caddies will be allowed but Pumpkin Ridge will not have any available. Instead, you may bring your own.
GOLF CARTS: Contestants in the Senior Division only may utilize motorized carts. Cart fees must be paid by the contestant at the time of rental. As a reminder, please observe any cart path restrictions posted by Pumpkin Ridge.
OGA HOSTED LUNCH: The OGA will provide lunch for all contestants on Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 22.
MATCH PLAY STARTING TIMES: Players will receive a text message and/ or email with their Thursday match play starting times. Starting times will also be posted on the OGA website oga.org . Please note, that Thursday’s matches and starting times will be affected by any playoffs that may take place for the final qualifying berths. Also, please feel free to rely on the starting time ranges, which can be found in the Player information packets that will be handed out during registration.
COURSE YARDAGE: Please note these yardages are subject to change by the Committee.

CANCELLATIONS: We expect all entrants to complete their rounds and fulfill their playing obligations. If for some reason you are forced to withdraw during the championship, please notify an OGA Official as soon as possible.
