73rd Massachusetts Women's Mid-Amateur Championship for the Keyes Cup
Monday, September 18, 2023 - Tuesday, September 19, 2023
CAPE COD NATIONAL GOLF CLUB
Format: 36-holes stroke play (18 holes per day for Championship and Tournament Divisions) and 18 holes for the Flighted Division only. Competitors will be competing in three separate divisions (Championship, Tournament & Flighted). In the event of a tie for low-gross in either division, a hole-by-hole play-off will commence immediately following the close of competition (Cape Cod National Golf Club Hole Sequence: 10 & 18). The net competition will be played based on the Thursday, September 14th, 2023 revision.
Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the Championship sites. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

Golf Carts & Push Carts: The use of automotive transportation (golf carts) is permitted. Carts are Included in the Championship entry fee. The use of push/pull carts is also permitted.
Caddies: Competitors may use a caddie during all rounds of the championship.
Time of Starting: Round 1 - (Mon., September 18th) 8:00am start off the 1st & 10th tee for ALL 3 divisions.
Round 2 - (Tues., September 19th) 8:00am off the 1st & 10th tee only for Championship & Tournament division.

Practice Rounds
Dates:
- September 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, or 14
- All groups will be after 1:30 PM
- Number of Groups Per Day: Limit of 3 groups per day
- Cart fee: $30 + tax for all players
Notes:
- Each competitor will be limited to 1 practice round.
- Competitors will be paired up to make foursomes on the day of their practice round.
- Practice rounds will be available for competitors to play (no guests or playing caddies). If a player wishes to bring their caddie to walk along, this will be allowed.
- Players shall play only one golf ball during the practice round.
- Tee times may be made by contacting the golf shop at 508-240-6800 ext. 1
Course Set-Up: Approximate yardage for each division:
- Championship Division will play from the White/Gold/Red Tee Markers. Tournament Division will play from Gold/Red tees. The Flighted Division will play from the Red Tees.
- W=White Tee, G= Gold Tee, R=Red Tee.

Practice Range: Will be open and available before Round 1 & 2 at 7:00am.

Food & Beverage:
- Monday, September 18th
- Sponsored by Mass Golf & will be available starting at 12:00pm until 3:00pm.
- Tuesday, September 19th
- Lunch is available at the player's expense starting at 12:00pm.
Bathrooms: On course bathrooms are located on the 5th tee and 14th tee.
Score Posting: All scores from individual stroke play events (qualifiers & championships proper) will be automatically posted to a player’s Mass Golf/USGA Handicap Index by the Mass Golf staff.
Prizes: The Grace Keyes Cup will be engraved with the names of the champions. Trophies will be given to the champion of each division (gross). Merchandise certificates will be awarded (gross & net) and are only redeemable at Cape Cod National Golf Club.
