2023 Advanced Jr Fall Clinic FINALE

 

 

10 hours total instruction (Max 6 students per instructor); 9 holes of golf, prizes, detailed instruction, and video swing analysis.  $235 Per Student

 

                 -Features detailed putting and short game Instruction, video swing analysis, posture and body movement corrections, and on-course play.

 

• The Advanced Jr Fall clinic finale is intended for students who are serious about the game of golf.  Participants in this program are expected to be at a high enough level where we can explain and cover advanced topics.
   
• This class is designed with junior improvement as the central focus, and the atmosphere will be serious and competitive. 
   
• Session #3 will feature slow motion video analysis of the student's swings, a detailed swing profile, recommended swing adjustments, and drills to practice. 
   
• This course is not for students who need to be encouraged to participate. This course will be going into late October were the weather can be cold, and windy. We expect students to focus and understand this is the nature of golf. 
   

                               Fall Finale Jr Golf Clinic calendar and schedule

 

         Session  #1 9/24 - 4 pm - 5:30 pm -  Fundamentals of Putting - Short putts, lag putts, and how to Properly read a green.

 

       Session #2  10/1 - 4 pm - 6:00 pm - Fundamentals of the Short game. Chipping, pitching, sand play, flop shots. 

 

       Session #3  10/8 - 4 pm - 6:30 pm - Video analysis of swing, detailed swing report, and golf swing fundamentals. 

                                                              - Posture, balance, proper body movement, and the pivot.

 

       Session #4  10/15 - 2 pm - 6:00 pm - How to prepare for a round, warming up, and 9-hole Ryder cup style Match-play. 

 

                                      Rain date 10/22 - This date will be a rain date in case we need one. 

 

The clinic will be run and directed by our Director of Junior Golf and level 2 PGA teaching Associate Colton Brendel. It will feature two additional coaches Adam Forsythe a PGA Associate Professional and current Assistant golf coach of Franklin High School, and Andy Friberg a 25-year veteran golf instructor who has been working with our Jr Golf Program for nearly a decade. 

 

 

NOTE: This Clinic is designed with the intention of fulfilling a PGA - PGM Lvl 2 T&C Requirement and short videos will taken to be submitted to the PGA of America to fulfill Colton Brendel's PGA requirements.
