Championship to determine the top Women's Four-Ball team in Louisiana in 2023.
Field/Format: Limited to the first 96 team entries. All teams will play 36 holes of Four-Ball stroke play over two days (September 9-10). All teams will be pre-flighted based upon the September 1, 2023 World Handicap System revision. Playing handicaps will be determined based on 85% of a golfer's Course Handicap.
Entry Deadline: September 5, 2023, 5PM CST.
Entry Fee, Withdrawal/Refunds: Entry fee of $400 per two person team, which includes cart fee for practice round and tournament play. Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if LGA office is notified, in writing, before the close of entries (September 5, 2023). After the close of entries, fee will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness provided notification (accompanied by a doctor's statement) reaches LGA offices by September 8, 2023. A $70 service charge will be deducted from all refunds. Pairings and starting times will be emailed to each accepted entry on or about September 5, 2023.
Eligibility: Entries are open to any Louisiana resident (as of at least 90 days prior to the Championship) who is an amateur golfer (as defined by the USGA and The R&A) holding membership in a LGA Member Club in good standing (2023 club and individual dues must be paid). Non-amateurs are not eligible. Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the Championship) by the LGA. Reasons for rejection may include unbecoming conduct. Dress Code: Competitors must be neat in appearance and wear appropriate attire. No gym shorts, blue jeans, tee shirts, etc. Koasati Pines is a spikeless facility and all competitors will be required to wear spikeless shoes.
Practice Privileges: Practice privileges are extended to participants in the Championship at Koasati Pines on September 8, 2023. Cart fee paid by LGA. Contact the golf shop at Koasati Pines on or after September 5 to schedule a practice round.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing team in the Overall Championship and the top finishing team in each flight.
Rules of Golf: Play will be governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and LGA Rules of Play Card. All questions will be settled by the LGA Rules Committee, whose decision will be final.
