PAIRINGS/STARTING TIMES: Not subject to change unless withdrawals dictate otherwise and only as dictated by official in charge (OIC).
QUALIFIERS: The USGA has informed us that there will be one (1) qualifier from our site. The qualifier is required to obtain his qualifier certificate prior to leaving Squire Creek Country Club on July 25, 2022.

RULES: The Rules of Golf will govern play. Each competitor will be provided with a local rules sheet prior to starting play. The “One-Ball Rule” will be in effect. Only brands appearing on the latest revision of the USGA’s list of conforming golf balls may be used. In addition, the following local rules will be in effect:
DISTANCE-MEASURING DEVICES: In Sectional qualifying and, in the Championship proper, a player may obtain distance information by use of a distance-measuring device. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., elevation changes, wind speed, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3.
FOOTWEAR: It is a condition of the competition for this Sectional Qualifier that shoes with traditionally designed spikes are prohibited. Penalty for breach of this condition is disqualification.
CARTS & CADDIES: Players or their caddies may use golf carts during a stipulated round. However, the USGA has issued the “one seat” policy, which mandates that a player or his caddie may ride at any point during a stipulated round, so long as they do not ride at the same time. The Committee reserves the right to limit or suspend the use of golf carts due to inclement weather, unsafe use of the golf cart or circumstances where use of the golf cart would present a hazard to others, the course officials, the golf course or for other unforeseen circumstances. Cart fee will be $25 plus tax for the practice round and the qualifying round. There will be limited spectator carts available for $25 plus tax.
PLAYOFF(S): If a playoff for qualifying or alternate positions is required, it will take place immediately after the final score is posted, beginning on a hole and continuing in a hole sequence determined by the Committee until a winner is determined.
PRACTICE: Please contact the Golf Shop at Squire Creek CC to schedule your practice round starting times. Practice round date is Sunday, July 24, 2022. One practice round allowed per competitor. Play your practice round from the white USGA tee markers to give you an idea of how the golf course will be set up for the qualifier. Golf Shop phone number is 318-768-7000. Range will be open one hour prior to first starting time on qualifying date (7/25).
FOOD: The grill at Squire Creek CC will be open with food and beverages available for purchase with a credit card. Outside coolers are not permitted.
