RDGA HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDANCE for 2023 TOURNAMENTS
The RDGA is continuing to promote a safe and healthy environment at each of our tournaments, reminding all golfers to take the necessary precautions and not play if showing any symptoms or if previously exposed to COVID-19 within the prior 7 days. We also recommend following the most up-to-date COVID-19 guidance from New York State.
-
Get vaccinated and stay up to date with all recommended doses.
- All New Yorkers 6 months and older should get vaccinated and get their booster dose when eligible.
- If you are experiencing symptoms or were exposed, get tested.
- If you test positive, stay home and talk to your healthcare provider about treatment.
- Masks are still required in healthcare facilities. Masks are optional in correctional facilities, homeless shelters, airports and on public transit.
- All travelers, domestic and international, should continue to follow all CDC travel requirements.
In accordance with these guidelines, the RDGA will NOT be requiring players to sign a COVID waiver form prior to each 2023 RDGA Tournament.
