SCGA CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION
44th SCGA FOUR-BALL NET CHAMPIONSHIP:
Bella Collina Towne & GC (Carnoustie & Muirfield), San Clemente
October 2-3, 2023
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 holes; four-ball net stroke play.
- Two-person teams will represent each side.
- Playing Handicaps will be determined based on 85% of each player’s Course Handicap.
- If a player’s Handicap Index is above 18.4, he or she will play down to a maximum Handicap Index of 18.4 during each phase of the competition.
- The SCGA Championship & Golf Operations Committee reserves the right to adjust a player’s and/or a team’s course handicap at any time prior to or during the competition.
- 52 teams will compete in this championship.
Monday, October 2: Round 1 (18 holes)
Tuesday, October 3: Round 2 (18 holes)
All teams will participate in an 18-hole, four-ball net stroke-play qualifying round.

Monday, August 28: Wood Ranch GC, Simi Valley
Thursday, August 31: Recreation Park GC, Long Beach
Thursday, August 31: Temecula Creek GC (Oaks/Creek), Temecula
Tuesday, September 5: Twin Oaks GC, San Marcos
Friday, September 8: Soule Park GC, Ojai
Tuesday, September 12: Morongo GC @ Tukwet Canyon (Legends), Beaumont
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to two-person teams with both players being amateurs and both having an established Handicap Index who are active members of an SCGA member club (not necessarily the same club) currently certified under World Handicap System requirements. If a player’s Handicap Index is above 18.4, he or she will play down to a maximum Handicap Index of 18.4 during each phase of the competition.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, August 20, 2023
INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played will be emailed and posted on scga.org/fbnet after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $280 per team
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and will only be accepted over the phone or through email.
SUBSTITUTIONS: For team competitions, or any other competition for which players are submitted on behalf of a club, the SCGA allows substitutions to be made up to two business days prior to the competition. If a substitution request is made less than two business days prior to the competition, the SCGA cannot guarantee that the substitution will be granted. For team competitions that utilize qualifiers, once a player or team has gone through the qualifying process, no substitutions may be made for the championship proper.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
