POLICIES, PROCEDURES, & GUIDELINES:
- Prior to participating, participants must review the SCGA’s Policies & Procedures.
FORMAT:
- All players will participate in a 36-hole stroke-play championship (18 holes each day)
- The championship field will be divided evenly into flights based on Handicap Index, as of August 14th.
- During the championship, players will use their Handicap Index as of August 14th and will receive 95% of their Course Handicap (unless otherwise noted by the SCGA).
- Awards will be given to those who finish in 1st through 5th place in each flight. All ties in all flights will be broken using the USGA suggested method of matching scorecards (Committee Procedures: Section 5A (6)).
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
- To schedule a practice round, book online at www.soulepark.com. Standard rates apply.
REGISTRATION:
All participants must check in at the SCGA registration table located outside the pro shop on Wednesday. Registration begins at 6:00 a.m.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:
- Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted online at scga.org one week in advance of the championship. Round 2 pairings will be developed based upon Round 1 scores.
- Starting times will range from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. each day off Holes #1 & 10.
- Players are encouraged to arrive at their assigned tee well in advance of their starting time, as the SCGA starter will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group. Furthermore, players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf. For example, the 9:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 9:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late. Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time. Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive in time to watch the group in front of them tee off.

DRIVING RANGE:
- The driving range will be available by 6:30 a.m. on each morning of the championship.
- Range balls will be provided compliments of Soule Park GC and the SCGA.
FOOD SERVICE & PURCHASES:
- Zaidee’s Bar & Grill will be open from 6:30 a.m. until the end of play each day.
- Cash and major credit cards will be accepted for all purchases.
- On Monday, players will receive a $20 Soule Park gift card for F&B purchases courtesy of the SCGA.
RULES OF PLAY:
- The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and The R&A govern play.

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION, PULL/PUSH CARTS:
- Automotive transportation is included with the entry fee; however, players who are able and willing to walk may do so.
- There will be a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart.
- Each player is entitled to one seat in a cart. If a player brings a caddie, the caddie may ride provided there is a vacant seat in one of the carts. Otherwise, either the player or the caddie must walk.
- Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).
- Pull or push carts are permitted.
CADDIES & SPECTATORS:
- Players may provide their own caddie (see section on Automotive Transportation).
- Spectators are permitted but are not allowed in carts. Spectators must adhere to all policies set forth by the facility.
DRESS CODE:
Appropriate golf attire must be worn, including adhering to any facility-specific policies.
CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS:
- To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of a SCGA competition, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at champs@scga.org.
- Failure to notify the SCGA will subject the player to suspension from future SCGA competitions.
- Refund Policy:
- Cancelation prior to the entry closing date: Full refund less a $20 administrative fee.
- Cancelation after the entry closing date and more than 48 hours prior to the start of the competition: 50% of the entry fee.
- Cancelation within 48 hours of the start of the competition: No refund.
