Being very passionate about the game of golf, that is what started us on the path to make it our career. And we all desire accomplishment, whether to win on the golf course or to build a successful career. For our profession, it means to get promoted, to gain new responsibility and authority, perhaps to earn a higher salary.... So how can we accomplish these? Attend this workshop to learn what employers are seeking, how to learn their desired skills and thus build your value.

This two hour workshop will be led by Carol Pence, our section’s Employment Consultant. A PGA Quarter Century member, she joined the Employment Services team as a Member Support Specialist in 2008. With more than 35 years in the industry, her work experience includes a 14 year stint as Head Golf Professional at a private club, six years for two municipal golf operations, Director of Instruction for a par-3 and standalone practice range as will as Executive Director of an inner-city kids golf program.
