Sand Creek Station Golf Course opened in 2006 and was designed by Jeff Brauer.  

This is the second time Sand Creek Station Golf Course has hosted the Kansas Amateur.  Previous year was 2012.  Kyle Smell was victorious in the 2012 Kansas Amateur.
