Championship Dates: Tuesday, July 5 - Thursday, July 7
Entry Fee: $250 per competitor
Registration Window: April 25 - June 27
Registration Categories: How the field is filled. Two registration categories to pick from: "Exempt Players" and "Non-Exempt Players".
Exempt Players that are listed on the exemption list or fall within one of the exemption categories are guaranteed a spot in the Championship. Click HERE to view the Exemption List/Categories.
Note: Top 1500 on the Women's WAGR List: If you are not individually listed on the exemption list, but meet this #14 exemption category you will need to contact the tournament director before registering: kmoore@coloradogolf.org.
Non-Exempt Players (all other players) will make up the remainder of the field. Any left over exempt player registration spots not filled by the registration deadline will be filled from the non-exempt catergory waitlist if oversubscribed.
Note: Championship is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time within the applicable registration category. A wait list will be maintained within the non-exempt category in case of left over exempt player registration spots or in case of cancellation.

Field Size: 84 total entrants
Format: 54 holes of individual stroke play
When registering, players will choose the division they wish to compete in. Players will remain in same division throughout the championship.
Championship Division:
There will be no flights within this division. All registered players within the division compete against each other for Gross prizes. The State Women’s Stroke Play Champion will be awarded from this division.
Estimated Yardage: 6200 +
Handicap Index Recommendation: 9.0 or below
Mid-Amateur Division (25 years or older):
There will be no flights within this division. All registered players within the division compete against each other for Gross prizes. The State Women’s Mid-Amateur Stroke Play Champion will be awarded from this division.
Estimated Yardage: 5800 – 6000
Handicap Index Recommendation: 15.0 or below
Age Limit: Must be 25 years or older on or before July 5.
Flighted Division:
Competitors are pre-flighted by playing handicap. The committee will determine flight size based on player numbers and handicap spread. Gross and Net prizes awarded within each flight.
Estimated Yardage: 5500 - 5700
Estimated Yardage: 5300 – 5500 (If needed, based on division player numbers and handicap spread)
Handicap Index Max: 30.0
Note: All players will compete at 95% of course handicap.
Revision Date: June 28th
Starting Times: Tee times beginning at 7:00am.
Carts: Carts are optional, included in entry fee. Two carts per group.
Caddies: Caddies are optional.
Note: Only two carts are allowed per group. Players have priority for carts over caddies. Caddies are not guaranteed a seat in a cart.
Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top finishes within each division/flight. Championship and Mid-Amateur Division will compete for gross prizes only. Net Division will award both gross and net prizes.
- The player with the lowest gross score for 54 holes in the Championship Division is the State Stroke Play Champion and will receive a trophy. Ties for low gross in the Championship Division are played off in a hole-by-hole playoff.
- The Player with the lowest gross score for 54 holes in the Mid-Amateur Division is the State Mid-Amateur Stroke Play Champion and will receive a trophy. Ties for low gross in the Mid-Amateur Division are played off in a hole-by-hole playoff.
- For all other ties, prize money is combined and divided equally among tied players.

Food & Beverage: Lunch will be provided on the last day following play, included in entry.
Score Posting: The CGA will post scores for players.
