40th CGA Women's Senior Stroke Play Championship

Entry Fee: $200 per competitor
Age Limit: Must be 50 years on or before August 31
Masters Division: Must be 70 years on or before August 31
Field Size: 120 entrants
NOTE: Tournament is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time. If a tournament is oversubscribed, a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellation.
Format: 36 holes of individual stroke play. Competitors are pre-flighted according to playing handicap with approximately 16 players per flight. The championship flight is comprised of the low 12 playing handicaps.
Masters Division – All players (excluding age eligible players that wish to compete in the championship flight) that have reached their 70th birthday on or before August 31 will be automatically put in the Masters Division.Two medals will be awarded to a gross and net champion for players 70 years or older playing the shorter yardage (first flight –) throughout the championship.
Opt Out: Champ Flight Note: Players 70 or older who fall within the low 12 playing handicaps in the field have the option to play in either the championship flight or opt out and play from the shorter yardage in first flight for the entire championship. Handicap Index Details: 30.0 maximum
Note: All players will compete at 95% of course handicap.

Cart: Carts are optional, included in entry fee. Two carts allowed per group.
Caddies: Allowed. Caddies are not guaranteed a seat in the cart, players have priority.
Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top gross and net finishes within each flight. The person with the lowest gross score after 36 holes in the championship flight will also receive a trophy and will be the State Champion. Ties for low gross in the championship flight will be played off in a hole-by-hole playoff. For all other ties, prize money will be combined and divided equally among tied players.
Masters Division Awards: Two medals will be awarded, a low gross and low net. Ties for either medal will be determined by matching cards.
Masters Division Low Gross: A medal will be awarded to the person with the lowest gross score after 36 holes.
Master Division Low Net: A medal will be awarded to the person with the lowest net score after 36 holes.
Note: Merchandise gift certificates, or any other applicable trophy are awarded within the players flight, not these divisions.
