Welcome to the Heron Lakes Men's Club!
The Heron Lakes Men's Club was founded in 1972 and is made up of a diverse group of golfers who share a desire to compete against one another on two of the best golf courses the Vancouver/Portland area has to offer. Out Club is rich in tradition, enjoys the present competitive makeup of our membership, and looks forward to the future of our Club and the game of golf.
The HLMC welcomes golfers of all skill levels as part of our membership. Each member will receive an official USGA handicap and reserved tee times on both Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Members also receive a 10% discount on in-stock pro shop merchandise and membership in the Oregon Golf Association and Pacific NW Golf Association. As members of those two additional associations, our members are eligible to play not only in Club events, but in events sponsored by both of those associations.
Starting each February and continuing through November, in addition to our regular weekly Wednesday and Saturday plays, the Club conducts a monthly major golf tournament. Two of our major tournaments are two day events and five of the major tournaments are two-man competitions. Our biggest tournament of the year is the Club Championship held in August and played on both the Greenback and Great Blue courses. This is a stroke play tournament and pairings for the final day are based on your score from the first day round.
Our Board meets once a month on the last Wednesday of each month at Elmer’s Pancake House in Delta Park. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. All members are invited to attend the meetings.
