ENTRY PROCEDURE: Contestants shall apply on official OGA entry blank or online at www.ohiogolf.org. Entry fee refund available only for medical reasons after deadline date, June 15, 2022, 11:59 p.m. All refunds are subject to a $15 service fee. Late or incomplete applications not accepted. No telephone entries. On-line entry is available at OHIOGOLF.ORG.
APPLICANTS: Must be (1) a male who has reached their 55th birthday on or before June 22, 2022.
(2) an active WHS Handicap Index of 7.4 or less (3) a resident of the State of Ohio. In order to pay the member fee, entrant must have an active WHS Handicap Index at an OGA member club. A list of member clubs may be found at ohiogolf.org. A resident is defined as meeting four (4) of the nine (9). 1. Ownership or leasing of Ohio residence 2. Proof of payment of utilities at property for which residency is being claimed 3.Ohio homestead exemption declared on residence 4. Place of employment in Ohio 5.Ohio Driver’s License 6.Ohio Vehicle registration 7. Ohio address listed on federal income tax return filed by player 8. Has a WHS handicap at a golf club in Ohio. 9. Voter registration in Ohio.

PRACTICE ROUND: Afternoon shotgun on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Entrants will be permitted to create their own practice round group, including their partner for the informal four-ball (Best Ball of 2).
CADDIES: A player must not have another player who has or will compete in the same round as his or her caddie during the round. Penalty for breach of Local Rules: The player gets the general penalty for each hole during which he or she is helped by such a caddie. If the breach happens or continues. Between two holes, the player gets the general penalty for the next hole. Modern Local Rule 8H.
SHOES: During a round, a player must not wear shoes with:
•Traditional spikes—that is, spikes having single or multiple points designed to penetrate deeply into the surface of the ground regardless of whether made of metal, ceramic, plastic or other materials
•Spikes of any design that are entirely or partially made of metal, if such metal may come in contact with the course penalty for breach of this Local Rules: See Rule 4.3. Modern Local Rule G-7

PAIRINGS: Pairings will be emailed to all contestants and posted to ohiogolf.org. All entries shall be deemed to be by invitation and are subject to OGA Board acceptance.
MEALS: Buffet lunch included in entry fee Tuesday and Wednesday for contestants. Breakfast buffet included in entry fee on Thursday. No lunch provided on Thursday.
