CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS

 

Dates: Saturday, September 24, 2022 - Sunday, September 25, 2022

 

Site: OGA Golf Course| Woodburn, Ore.

 

Eligibility:
WOMEN: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with Handicap Indexes of 40.4 or less.

MEN: Entries are open to male amateur golfers with Handicap Indexes of 36.4 or less.
 

All entrants must be members in good standing of an OGA Member Club and be at least 13 years of age as of September 24, 2022.

 

Format: 36-hole stroke play net competition. In the event of a tie, duplicate trophies will be issued.

 

Entry Fee: $150

 

Entry Includes:

• 3 rounds of golf - One practice round and two competitive rounds
• OGA hosted lunch
• Tee prizes
• Merchandise certificate awards given to top finishers
• Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be awarded to the Men's and Women's Champions
• THERE WILL BE NO GROSS PRIZES

 

Handicap: Course Handicaps are reduced according to USGA recommendations. Players receive 95% of Course Handicap to calculate the final Playing Handicap. Flights and Course Handicaps will be based on the September 7th Handicap Index.

 

Field Limit: The field will be limited to 144 players, including Men and Women. Entries will be accepted according to the date and time of entry and entry fee.

Exemptions: Defending Men’s Champion Scott Hefflinger and Women’s Champion Karen Govier will be eligible for guaranteed entry into the Championship. Exempt players must meet the eligibility requirements and file an entry by the deadline.
