Eligibility
Open to female amateur golfers who have an active handicap index at a Central Links Golf member club or eClub. If you are from out of the region, you can join the Eclub of Kansas City through this link.
Priority entry will be given to Central Links Golf members with an active handicap index of 5.0 or lower through March 31. 2022.
On April 1, 2022, entries will be open to Central Links Golf members with an active handicap index of 9.9 or lower.
Note: when you register, you will be added to a pending list until you have been accepted into the event.
Places in the field of 60 are held until May 1st for the following players provided they meet the handicap index eligibility requirements:
- Champions from the previous five years
- Previous year’s top 20% of the field
- Previous year’s Low Junior
- Previous year’s Junior 4-State team members
- Previous year’s Women’s Fore State team members
- Current year’s KS Junior Champion (held until competition is final)
- Current year’s KC Junior Champion (held until competition is final)
- Previous year’s KC Girls Match Play Champion
- Previous year’s KS Girls Match Play Champion
- Current year’s KC Women’s Match Play Champion (held until competition is final)
- Previous year’s KS Women’s Senior Gross Champion
- Current year’s KS Women’s Mid-Amateur Champion
- Residents in the eligibility area who have qualified for USGA National Championships in the past twelve months
Divisions
The Championship Field will compete as one Division with NO Flights. Thirty-six holes of Stroke Play shall be played Monday, July 11 and 18-holes of Stroke Play shall be played Tuesday, July 12 to conclude the 54-hole Championship. The Championship Golf Course will be set each day at 5800 to 6200 yards, dependent upon weather and golf course conditions.
Entry
The entry fee includes: all tournament rounds of golf, lunch both days, prizes and player gift. Entries close at 11:00 p.m. CST on July 5, 2022.
Refunds: The entry fee is refunded entirely if withdrawal is made on or before July 5, 2022. After entries close, the fee will be refunded at 50% if requested by July 10, 2022. No refunds are granted on or after July 11, 2022.
Schedule
Starting times will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 11 on #1 and #10 tee. Players will receive approximately one hour for lunch between rounds barring any weather delays.

Prizes
Trophies will be awarded to the Champion, Runner-Up, and Low Junior. Prizes will be awarded for gross scoring only. Approximately 25%-30% of the field will receive a prize in the form of a gift certificate which may be redeemed at any Central Links Golf member club.
Ties
Ties for first place will be decided by an on-course hole-by-hole playoff. All other ties will be split.
Rules of Golf, Competition is Final
Play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA. Questions will be settled by the on-site Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. The competition is final when the Championship trophy has been presented.
Equipment
All golf balls and clubs must conform to USGA specifications. Any unusual equipment or devices, such as gloves, unusual tees, alignment aids, braces, and the like are prohibited by the Rules of Golf.
Dress Code
Proper golf attire is required. Jeans, halter tops, tank tops, and athletic t-shirts are not permitted. Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.
Caddies
Caddies are allowed for this event and the actions of the caddie during the round are the responsibility of the player (Rule 10.3c). This is the default position for caddies for Central Links events, but availability may vary from event to event or any other factors affecting this policy. Caddies are allowed to ride on and operate the golf cart, provided space is available. Central Links Golf has a strict 2 carts per group policy and the carts are reserved for the players first. If a group has more than one caddie, arrangements must be made within the group to accommodate the cart policy.
Transportation
Golf carts are available for all players and are included in the entry fee. There is a two cart per group limit. Players/Caddies are not permitted to rent additional carts beyond the two cart per group limit. Pace of play checkpoint times will not be altered for players who choose to walk. A limited number of carts will be reserved for disabled spectators. Documentation must be provided to tournament staff qualify for one of these vehicles. Spectator carts may be available for rent, but availability is not guaranteed. All spectator carts are rented on the date of play on a first-come/first-served basis. Spectator carts must remain on cart paths at all times.
Cart rules during the competition are subject to the discretion of the golf course superintendent at the host facility based on course conditions and may change without notice at any time during the competition. ADA requests for special exceptions to this rule are handled on a case-by-case basis and will be granted provided they would not alter the fundamental fairness of the competition by providing a player with an advantage over other players.
Registration
There will be no formal on-site registration. Please arrive at the starting tee ten minutes prior to the starting time. Player gifts will be distributed at the scoring table.
Practice Round
Practice rounds are permitted, but not included in the tournament fee. Players may contact the host facility to arrange a practice round starting time June 20 - 30 and then July 5-10. The Championship Committee encourages Topeka-area residents to play prior to Sunday, July 10 so there will be ample starting times available for participants from outside the Topeka area.

The range will be available at 6:30am each day.

Food & Beverage
Lunch is included with the entry fee on both competition days for competitors. Caddies and spectators may purchase lunch in the Player Dining area or at the grill on site.
