40th Carolinas - Virginias Junior Team Matches

Carolinas Team Exemptions

 

 

 

Boys’ team members must be 18 years of age or younger and who have not started college.  The Carolinas-Virginias junior team is below:

 

• 2021 Dogwood Junior Boys’ Champion – Owen Kose, Holly Springs, NC
• 2022 NC Junior Champion-Davis Sayman, Charlotte, NC
• 2022 Carolinas Junior Champion – Jack Wieler, Waxhaw, NC
• 2022 SC Junior Match Play Champion – Drew Jeffords, Florence, SC
• Captain’s Pick-Mason Kucia, Indian Land, SC
• Captain’s Pick- Gray Mitchum, Winterville, NC
• Captain's Pick- James Rico, Cary, NC
• Captain's Pick- Lucas Acevedo

 

If any invitee is not eligible or does not accept the invitation, an additional captain’s pick will be used to select the player. Invited players must have played in at least 1 CGA junior championship the year of matches.

 

Note: the 2022 Dogwood Junior Boys’ Champion and the 2022 Creed Junior Boys’ Champion will be invited to play in 2023 Team Matches, assuming they are still eligible.
