START TIMES: Beginning at 7:00 am through 3:10 pm off the No.1 tee for Rounds 1 & 2.
Round 3 will begin at 8:00 am off the No.1 tee.

RDGA HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDANCE for 2022: The RDGA is continuing to promote a safe and healthy environment at each of our tournaments, reminding all golfers to take the necessary precautions and not play if showing any symptoms or if previously exposed to COVID-19 within the prior 7 days. We also recommend following the most up-to-date COVID-19 guidance from New York State, including the points outlined at coronavirus.health.ny.gov. CLICK HERE for more information. In accordance with these guidelines, the RDGA will NOT be requiring players to sign a COVID waiver form prior to each 2022 RDGA Tournament.
FORMAT: The RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial features 54 holes of scratch stroke play competition over three days. An official Practice Round will be scheduled for Wednesday, July 13 - players must indicate on their registration forms if they intend to play. Practice round will be a 2:00 pm shotgun start. Following two rounds of play, the field will be cut to the low 40 players and ties. Ties for first will result in a sudden death playoff to determine the champion.
ABOUT: The premier Championship for Rochester-area amateurs is named in honor of the late John H. Ryan Jr., who grew up in the RDGA junior and amateur ranks, winning the District Junior Championship twice and back-to-back District Championships in 1981 and 1982 before losing his life to a boating accident in 1982. Now in it's 91st year, this year's District Champion will receive an invitation into the 2023 Monroe Invitational and all players who make the 36-hole cut will be exempt from qualifying for the 2023 RDGA District Championship. Lunch will be provided to contestants on each day of the Championship.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless you are exempt from qualifying (CLICK HERE to see the list of 2022 RDGA Championship exemptions), you must first enter one of three District Championship Qualifiers before registering for the Championship. Click on the "Qualifiers" tab above for more information.
EXEMPT PLAYERS with invitations to register will have until JUNE 1 at 11:59 pm to register - after which registration will be CLOSED. Registration will then re-open ONLY for players earning qualifying spots in any of the three District Championship Qualifiers, beginning on Wednesday, June 22 at 9:00 am.
