FORMAT/QUALIFYING PLACES 18 holes of four-ball stroke play for 2 spots to advance to the 2023 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship to be played May 20-24, 2023, at Kiawah Island Club. |

PRACTICE ROUND Practice rounds will be available based on club availability on the dates and times listed below. Players must call Berkeley Hills Country Club to make arrangements for a starting time. Only one practice round per player will be allowed, and practice rounds will be limited to contestants only. Practice round cart and range fee is $25 plus tax. ONLY credit cards will be accepted.

YARDAGES & TEES Championship tees will be used for this qualifying round. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. |

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:30 a.m. each day of competition. |
|
STARTING TIMES Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the USGA/GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information. |
|
CADDIES No caddies are available at Berkeley Hills CC. The player is solely responsible for making arrangements for a caddie. |
|
CARTS Practice cart and range fees are $25+. Only credit cards will be accepted. During the qualifying round, a caddie may transport a player’s bag on a cart for a fee of $25+. Spectator carts are strictly prohibited. |
|
PRIZES A silver medal will be presented to the low scorer at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds. |
|
REGISTRATION No formal registration will be held on site. Players should arrive to their assigned starting tee ten minutes before their starting time to allow for the starter to go over instructions and rules of play. Player withdraws must be called in to the GSGA office at (678) 324-5973. |

FOOD SERVICE Food and beverage items will be available at the turn grill. |

PERSONAL APPEARANCE In Local and Sectional Qualifying stages and the Championship proper, players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The Committee in charge decides whether this requirement has been met and has the authority to withdraw the entry of a player who does not comply. |

CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION - The following conditions shall be in effect for this competition:
- GSGA competitions are "spikeless" events. Therefore, metal and traditionally-designed spikes are prohibited. Penalty for breach of this condition is disqualification.
- Players are responsible for posting their scores to the handicap system upon conclusion of this competition. Scores must be posted as competition scores. Course slope and rating information is typically posted online during the competition. You may also contact GSGA for this information. Your scores are subject to review by your peers and your club's handicap committee.
