ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE LYTHAM TROPHY 2022

 

THE PRACTICE GROUND

 

1. OPENING TIMES

The Practice Ground will be open for Competitors use from Thursday 28th April at 06:45am, until 11:00am on Sunday 1st May.

 

It will close at 20:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (last balls 19:30) and re-open at 06:45 each morning.  The Practice Ground must not be used when officially closed. Those Competitors who miss the cut cannot use the Practice facilities on Sunday 1st May.

 

2. PRACTICE BALLS

Balls for practice will be provided without charge by the Club, and collected and distributed by Club staff. Competitors may not use their own balls for practice, nor may they walk forward at any time from the hitting area.

 

Competitors may use the Practice Ground at any time that it is open, as long as they remain in the Tournament.

 

The range staff will ask to see each competitor’s bag tag identity prior to distributing range balls.

 

3. COMPLIANCE

We hope that Competitors will appreciate the improvements made to the practice facilities in recent years. Any Competitor unwilling to comply with these arrangements will be asked by the Club staff to leave the Practice Ground forthwith.

 

THE FIRST TEE

 

Competitors are asked to collect their Score Card from the Starters by the 1st Tee 10 minutes before their start time.

 

In addition to the Score Card, Competitors will be given the pin position sheet, and on Friday only, the Local Rules and their Bag Tag, which must be displayed in a visible position on their bag.
