Pairings and tee times will be set and emailed to all competitors sometime during the week of May 30 - June 3.

Entries: Entries for all USGA qualifiers must be submitted through the USGA website at USGA.org.

Eligibility:

Entries are open to Female amateur golfers who: (1) will not have reached their nineteenth birthday by midnight of July 23, 2022 and (2) have an up-to-date Handicap Index not exceeding 9.4 under the USGA Handicap System. A Handicap Index must be issued from a "golf club" (as defined in the USGA Handicap System Manual) that is authorized to use the USGA Handicap System. The USGA accepts an up-to-date handicap issued from the international body of golf that would be equivalent to a USGA Handicap Index within the prescribed limit for entry into the Championship.

 

Tee Times: Starting at 10:10 AM

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available Monday-Wednesday, June 13-15. Tee times are subject to course availability. Practice round rate for juniors competing in the qualifier will be $40. Any family or friends who plan to play as well will pay the applicable golf course rate based on the day and time. Call the Reflection Bay pro shop directly to book a practice round tee time and make the pro shop staff member you talk to aware that you are booking a practice round for the U.S. Girls' Junior sectional qualifier.

 

 

Projected Tournament Yardage:  Please note that these yardages are only projected and are subject to change based on a variety of factors including weather, course condition, committee discretion, etc...

 

 

Golf Balls; Driver Heads:

Only brands of golf balls on the most current List of Conforming Golf Balls and driver heads on the most current List of Conforming Driver Heads may be used. Updated lists may be found on the USGA website at www.usga.org or by contacting the USGA Equipment Standards Department at (908) 234-2300. See Model Local Rules G-1 and G-3. The one ball Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. See Model Local Rule G-4.

 

Clubs: Grooves:

In Sectional Qualifying and in the Championship proper, the Local Rule as prescribed by Section 8 of the Committee Proceduresis in effect. Model Local Rule G-2.

 

Caddies:

Qualifying Rounds: A player may provide her own caddie. If she wishes to have the host club furnish a caddie, she should ask the Official in Charge because sufficient caddies may not be available at the host club.

        *EXCEPTION: A player may not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during Sectional                Qualifying or the Championship proper.

A player is not required to employ a caddie for any stage of the Championship.

 

Caddie Carts: For this qualifier, caddies will have the option to take a golf cart. There will be a cart fee of $25 paid directly to the golf course on the day of the qualifier. Players MUST still walk the golf course at all times per USGA rules and regulations for this qualifier.

 

Withdrawal from Qualifying:

A player who wishes to withdraw from Qualifying must notify the USGA (908-326-1950 or via e-mail at champs@usga.org) and the Official in Charge (Tim Brand at tbrand@snga.org or 702-830-7972) prior to their scheduled qualifying round. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from future USGA competitions.

 

Transportation:

Players must walk during all Sectional and Championship proper rounds. But consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a disabled player may be permitted to use a golf cart as an accommodation to his or her disability for those events where golf carts are not allowed. As required by the ADA, the USGA will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis.
