  • We are guests and must follow all facility policies and guidelines when on property. Behavior during practice rounds will be subject to the SCGA Code of Conduct.

STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:

  • The match play brackets and pairings will be released on Friday, June 10 online at scga.org.
  • Players are encouraged to arrive at their assigned tee well in advance of their starting time, as the SCGA starter will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group.  Furthermore, players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf.  For example, the 8:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 8:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late.  Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time.  Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive in time to watch the group in front of them tee off.

GOLF CARTS, PULL/PUSH CARTS:

  • During Rounds 1 & 2, opponents must share a golf cart due to limited golf cart availability.  Beginning in Round 3, there will be a maximum of two carts per group.
  • Each player is entitled to one seat in a cart. If a player brings a caddie, the caddie may ride provided there is a vacant seat in one of the carts.  During Rounds 1 & 2, caddies may rent a golf cart from the Pro Shop.
  • Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).
  • Pull or push carts are not permitted during the championship – everyone must ride.

CADDIES & SPECTATORS:

  • Players may provide their own caddie (see the section on golf carts).  During Rounds 1 & 2, caddies may rent a golf cart with the Pro Shop as opponents are asked to share a golf cart.
  • Spectators are permitted but are not allowed in carts. Spectators must adhere to all policies set forth by the facility.  (Please note that the Journey at Pechanga is not a spectator-friendly golf course.  The terrain is severe with many extreme hills to climb.  Many holes have very long distances between them.)
