PAIRINGS/STARTING TIMES: Not subject to change unless withdrawals dictate otherwise and only as dictated by official in charge (OIC).
QUALIFIERS: The USGA has informed us that there will be one (1) qualifier from our site. The qualifier is required to obtain his qualifier certificate prior to leaving Le Triomphe G & CC on August 10, 2021.
WITHDRAWALS: Players who must withdraw should contact Logan Ray at the LGA offices as soon as is feasible. (O) 337-265-3938, or reply to this email: loganr@lgagolf.org.
RULES: The Rules of Golf and the USGA hard card will govern play (see attached document). Each competitor will be provided with a local rules sheet prior to starting play. The “One-Ball Rule” will be in effect.
CARTS & CADDIES: Players or their caddies may use golf carts during the stipulated round. However, the USGA has issued the “one seat” policy, which mandates that a player or his caddie may ride at any point during the round, so long as they do not ride at the same time (see attached infographic for more information). Golf carts may be rented through the Le Triomphe G & CC golf shop.
PLAYOFF(S): If a playoff for qualifying or two alternate positions is required, it will take place immediately after the final score is posted, beginning on a hole and continuing in a hole sequence determined by the Committee until a winner is determined.
PRACTICE: Please contact the Golf Shop at Le Triomphe on or after August 4 to schedule practice round starting times. Practice round availability is after 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 7 or Sunday, August 8 as arranged through the Le Triomphe Golf Shop. One practice round allowed per competitor. Golf Shop's phone number is 337.856.6754. Range will be open one hour prior to first starting time on qualifying date (8/10).
FOOD: The grill & turn house will be open with food and beverages available on a cash and credit card basis on the date of the qualifier. Outside coolers are not permitted.
