2021 Sheeran Mixed Tournament

The Club at New Seabury – Ocean Course | Mashpee, MA | September 27th-28th, 2021

 

Entry Fee: $200 per team

Entries Open: 5/11/2021 at 10:00am

Entries Close: 9/07/2021 at 5:00pm

 Team chooses to either play on Monday or Tuesday.

Eligibility: Two person teams. Entries are open to legally married amateur golfer couples who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 24.0 (as determined by September 7, 2021 Handicap Revision).

Entry Procedures: Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline.

Field: Entries will be on a first come, first served basis. After the field is full a waitlist will automatically start.

Format: Golfers both hit off the tee and select which drive they want to use. Then they play alternate shot into the hole. Teams write down their team score on each hole. 

Handicaps: 50% combined indexes. Indexes computed on September 7th, 2021.

Tees: Mass Golf Red Tees for Women and Mass Golf Blue Teams for Men.

Caddies & Automotive Transportation: Cart fee is included in entry fee. Caddies and pull carts (at the host club(s) discretion) are permitted.

Food & Beverage: Mass Golf will be providing a complimentary lunch for all competitors.

Starting Time: All golfers to be ready at their carts at 9:10 AM. Shotgun start at 9:30 AM.

Awards: The Sheeran Mixed has a permanent trophy that will be engraved with the names of the low gross winners. Ties for overall gross will be honored. Other ties will be decided by a matching of cards in accordance with USGA recommended method.  Prize Certificates (gross & net places) will be given out and must be redeemed at The Club at New Seabury.

Rules of Golf: The USGA Rules of Golf, Local Rules and Terms of Competitions for Mass Golf Tournaments govern all play.

Distance-Measuring Devices: Permitted as specified in Mass Golf Championship Policies & Procedures.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy: Competitors who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office (email preferred). Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified seven (7) days prior to the event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven (7) days prior to the event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event.
