CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT
The format is 36 holes of stroke play with the low 3 of 4 team scores counting per round. An overall team champion and individual medalist will be awarded.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Listed below is the schedule of events for this year's championship. Please note that this schedule is subject to change. Any changes will be emailed to the field with an update.

REGISTRATION
Upon arrival at the Country Club of Buffalo on Monday, August 9 for practice rounds, players will register in-person with BDGA staff. Players will be provided with their tee gifts, have their profile picture taken for online scoring, and be given final important notices and reminders.
DRIVING RANGE/PRACTICE FACILITY
The use of the driving range will be provided to players (see schedule for times). All players are required to clean up the practice facility once they are finished, do not leave practice balls on either green.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Lunch will be provided to players and captains during practice and competition rounds. Lunch for spectators will be available for purchase via cash (pricing TBA).
Breakfast will be provided to players and captains during the competition rounds. Spectators will have the opportunity to purchase via cash (pricing TBA)
Formal Dinner (Jacket and Tie required) for all players and captains will be hosted at the Country Club of Buffalo on Monday August 9th at 6:30pm.
A tab has been established for each association to make additional purchases of Food & Bev that is not included in the event.
ON-COURSE WATER & SNACKS
Water bottles and fruit/snacks will be provided on the golf course for players/captains only.
LOCKER ACCESS & CLUB STORAGE
All players will be awarded the opportunity to use a locker at the Country Club of Buffalo as well as storage for their clubs throughout the event.
PUSH CARTS
The use of a push cart, whether manual or electric, is not permitted. All players will be required to walk and carry their bag.
SPECTATORS AND CARTS
Spectators are encouraged to attend this Championship and follow guidelines consistent with other golf competitions. Spectators are expected to maintain a reasonable distance (at least 20 yards) from players and to always walk with or ahead of the group they are following. Spectators must not give players advice, doing so could result in the player being penalized. Spectators who are in breach of these recommendations may be subject to removal from the golf course.
The BDGA will accommodate spectators with an ADA disability by allowing them to ride in their own golf cart. To request this accommodation, a spectator must contact Jack Travers (jtravers@nysga.org | 716-957-2386) at least 24 hours in advance.
LOCAL RULES
All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The BDGA will have volunteer Rules Officials on the course to provide rulings and answer questions.
EVACUATION PLAN
In the event of a discontinuance of play during this Championship, players must adhere to the evacuation plan distributed by the BDGA. Click Here
PLAYER CONDUCT
Players and/or their guests must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner at all times. Any excessive display of anger, vulgar language, club throwing, alcohol abuse, illegal drug use, lack of golfing etiquette or disrespect to a fellow player or any other individual may be grounds for disqualification from this tournament. The BDGA reserves the right to revoke a player's tournament entry at any time for conduct deemed inappropriate or damaging to the BDGA.
CLUB POLICIES
- Proper golf attire is expected at all times. Denim, swimsuits, tank tops, hooded tops that are not rain jackets, etc. are not permitted for golf or practice. For men: Collared shirts, slacks, Bermuda shorts not more than two inches above the knee are appropriate. Shirt tails are to be tucked inside trousers or Bermuda shorts at all times. Cargo shorts, cargo pants, jogger style pants and short sleeve mock turtleneck shirts are considered inappropriate and are not permitted. For women: Appropriate tops, slacks, Bermuda shorts and golf skirts that are at least mid-thigh in length are appropriate for women. Leggings and athletic apparel that are designed as gym wear, i.e. yoga pants, spandex, racerback tank tops, etc. are not appropriate attire for golf.
- The use of cellular phones on Club property is allowed only in designated phone booths, locker rooms, and inside closed private meeting rooms. Cellular phones should be set to silent or vibrate while on Club property. The private and discreet use of silent electronic devices for message viewing and sending (not cellular phone use) is allowed in all areas of the Club and golf course.
- The use of headphones or playing music while practicing or playing is NOT PERMITTED
