QUALIFYING PORTAL: Follow the link for pairings, live scoring, results and player information. You can also access the qualifying portal by using the USGA Tournament Management app on your mobile device. To access the page, login using the GGID: USWOMEN-UP21
QUALIFYING YARDAGE: 6445 yards, par-73
FORMAT/QUALIFYING PLACES: Stroke play competition conducted over 18 holes. The field of 50 players will compete for five (5) qualifying places and two (2) alternate positions into the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y. on August 2-8, 2021.
PRACTICE ROUND AVAILABILITY: Players may play one hosted practice round. Hosted practice rounds will be available on Monday, July 12 between 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Contestants must call the Chambers Bay golf shop at (253) 460-4653 ext. 2 to make arrangements. All practice round times are at the discretion of the golf shop staff.
STARTING TIMES: Available on the Washington Golf website (wagolf.org) and on the qualifying portal. Tee times will be from 7:30 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. off the #1 tee.
RESULTS/LIVE SCORING: Live scoring will be available during the qualifying after holes #4, #9, #13, and #18.
PLAYOFF: In the event of a tie for the last qualifying place or for the order of alternates, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff to determine the final qualifiers and the 1st and 2nd alternates if necessary. All announcements regarding the play-off and start time will be made via text message and email.
WAIVER: Players must sign WA Golf’s COVID-19 Participant Release Waiver at Player Registration. All players must sign WA Golf’s COVID-19 Participant Release Waiver prior to participating. Minors must have a parent/guardian also sign the waiver. A copy of the waiver will also be emailed to each player and it can be returned early via email.
MASK REQUIREMENT: Players and caddies are required to wear a facial covering while at registration, the starting tee, scoring and in any other public areas.
REGISTRATION & SCREENING: Players will need to register with WA Golf upon arrival at the golf course. Players will be subject to answer a health screening and travel questions related to COVID-19. Players must register before teeing off.
HAND SANITIZER: All players will be provided with a bottle of hand sanitizer at Player Registration.
GOLF SHOP: Open from 6:30 a.m. to dusk.
LOCKER ROOM: No locker room. Two restrooms are located behind the Turn Stand.
PRACTICE FACILITIES/RANGE BALLS: The Academy/South Driving Range will be open from 6:30 a.m. to dusk with hosted range balls.
FOOD SERVICE: The Turn Stand will be open at 7:00 a.m. and the Grill (located up the hill next to the golf shop) will be open at 11:00 a.m.
BOTTLED WATER: Bottled water will be provided at numerous locations on the golf course for players and caddies.
METHODS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED: All major credit cards and cash.
CADDIES: Caddies are permitted. Host club caddies are available and can be scheduled by calling Brian on the Caddy Department line at (253) 552-4869 or by email at chambersbaycaddymaster@kempersports.com.
PLAYER PARKING: Players should drive down the hill and park at the Academy/South Driving Range parking lot. Be mindful not to leave valuables out in the open in your car.
PLAYER SHUTTLE FROM DRIVING RANGE: Chambers Bay will provide a player/caddie shuttle from the Academy/South Driving Range parking lot to the course (Turn Stand/Practice Putting Green/First Tee) and back. The shuttle will be on a constant rotation.
PULL CARTS: Pull carts are permitted and will be available for use outside the Turn Stand located next to the first tee.
CARTS: Players must not ride on any form of transportation during a stipulated round unless authorized by the Committee. Spectator carts are not permitted.
PROHIBITION ON CERTAIN TYPES OF SHOES: The Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-7.
GOLF BALLS/DRIVER HEADS: Only brands of golf balls on the most current List of Conforming Golf Balls and driver heads on the most current List of Conforming Driver Heads may be used. Updated lists may be found on the USGA website at www.usga.org or by contacting the USGA Equipment Standards Department at (908) 234-2300. See Model Local Rules G-1 and G-3.
The one ball Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. See Model Local Rule G-4.
GROOVES: In Qualifying and in the Championship proper, the Local Rule as prescribed by

DMDS: The use of distance-measuring devices (DMD) to measure distance only (Rule 4.3) is permitted. UNDERSTANDING THE RULES OF DMDs
PACE OF PLAY: It is a condition that players must play without undue delay and in accordance with guidelines established by the Committee. PACE OF PLAY GUIDELINES
EVACUATION PLAN: In the event of a discontinuance of play during the qualifier, players must adhere to the evacuation plan distributed by the Committee.
CODE OF CONDUCT: As set forth in the USGA application, the code of conduct applies to all USGA Qualifying and Championships.
PERSONAL APPEARANCE: Players must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing.
AWARD CEREMONY: Silver Medal will be awarded to lowest scorer.
EVACUATION PLAN: In the event of a discontinuance of play during the qualifier, players must adhere to the evacuation plan distributed by the Committee.
CODE OF CONDUCT: As set forth in the USGA application, the code of conduct applies to all USGA Qualifying and Championships.
PERSONAL APPEARANCE: Players must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing.
