Entry Fee: $200.00 per team

Entries Open: 3/23/2021 at 10:00am

Entries Close: 4/13/2021 at 5:00pm

  

Eligibility:
Entries are open to two-person teams of female amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club. There are two divisions.

 

Division 1 must have both players with Handicap Indexes up to 18.0. Division 2 must have both players with Handicap Indexes 18.1-54.0 (as determined by the April 13, 2021 Handicap Revision), or who have completed their handicap certification. Players with a Handicap Index of higher than 36.0 will be limited to a 36 Player Handicap.

 

Entry Procedures:

Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline.

 

Field:

Entries will be on a first come, first served basis. After the field is full a waitlist will automatically start.

 

Format:

Golfers both hit their tee shot. Then they hit their partner’s ball. For the third shot they select a ball and alternate shots into the hole. Teams write down the team score on each hole. 

                           

Tees: Mass Golf Red Tees from approximately 5,400 yards.

  

Caddies & Automotive Transportation:

Cart fee is included in entry fee. Caddies and pull carts (at the host club(s) discretion) are permitted.

 

Food & Beverage:

Mass Golf will be providing a complimentary lunch for all competitors.

 

Starting Times: 

Morning Shotgun

All golfers ready at their carts at 7:40 AM. Shotgun start at designated hole at 8:00 AM.

Afternoon Shotgun:

All golfers MUST be onsite by 1:00 PM and ready at their carts at 1:10 PM. Shotgun start at designated hole at 1:30 PM.

 

Awards: The Cris Eaton Chapman has a permanent trophy that will be engraved with the names of the low gross winners in each division. Ties for overall gross will be honored. Other ties will be decided by a matching of cards in accordance with USGA recommended method.  Prize Certificates (gross & net places) will be given out to be redeemed at Pleasant Valley Country Club.  

 

Practice Rounds:

Courtesy practice privileges are at the discretion of the host club(s). Mass Golf will provide details surrounding the availability of practice rounds ahead of the scheduled event; please refrain from contacting the host clubs until specific details are received from Mass Golf.

 

Rules of Golf: The USGA Rules of Golf, Local Rules and Terms of Competitions for Mass Golf Tournaments govern all play.

Distance-Measuring Devices: Permitted as specified in Mass Golf Championship Policies & Procedures.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

Competitors who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office (email preferred). Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified seven (7) days prior to the event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven (7) days prior to the event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event.
