Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

Registration Deadline: 5:00pm EDT June 9, 2021. Players must register through the USGA linked above.

 

Entry Fee: $200.00

 

Age Limit: Must be 50 on or before July 29, 2021

 

Amateur Handicap Index Limit: 7.4

 

Field Size: 84 players maximum 

 

Qualifying Positions: 3

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Starting Time: 7:30am 

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Senior Women's Open Championship and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie.

 

Practice Round Information: NOTE: The tee sheet at this facility is mostly full 14 days in advance - To book a tee time reach out to head professional Susie Helmerich 15 days in advance of when you wish to play so she can do her best to book you a time. This is for qualifier participants ONLY, applicable pricing rate applies and only ONE practice round can be booked 15 days in advanced. Susie.helmerich@denvergov.org or 720.865.3412.

Local Rules in Effect

Distance Measuring Devices: NEW. During the qualifying rounds distance measuring devices are allowed, must measure distance only.

 

One Ball Rule: Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect, except that the exception in the model local rule does not apply. Model Local Rule G-2.

 

Prohibiting Use of Audio and Video Devices: During a round, a player must not listen to or watch content of any nature on a personal audio or video device. Local Rule G-8 is in effect.

 

Replacement of Broken or Significantly Damaged Club: Local Rule as prescribed in the Clarifications to the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect. Model Local Rule G-9. 

 

Ball Played from Outside Relief Area When Taking Back-On-the-Line Relief: Local Rule as prescribed in the Clarifications to the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect. Model Local Rule E-12. 

Limiting When Stroke Made From Putting Green Must Be Replayed Under Exception 2 to Rule 11.1b: Local Rule as prescribed in the Clarifications to the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect. Model Local Rule D-7.
