FORMAT & QUALIFYING PLACES |
18 holes of individual stroke play for 3 qualifying spots and 2 alternate spots to advance to the 2021 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship to be played July 12-17 at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, MD. |
PRACTICE ROUNDS |
One practice round per player (players only) at the designated rate below. Practice rounds will be available on the designated dates and times below. Please call Dogwood Golf Club to reserve your practice round starting time. Carts may be used during the practice round. The practice round fee is $30 plus tax. Cash and credit cards will be accepted methods of payment in the golf shop.

CARTS |
Practice round fees are $30 plus tax regardless of whether the player rides or walks. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. During the qualifying round, a caddie may transport a player’s bag on a cart for a fee of $14.85 plus tax. Spectator carts are strictly prohibited in all instances. |
YARDAGES & TEES |
A yardage sheet will be available on-site and also in the Golf Genius event portal. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: |
The golf shop and driving range will open by 7:00 a.m. the morning of qualifying. |
STARTING TIMES |
Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the USGA/GSGA and will be posted on the event portal . You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times. |
REGISTRATION |
NO formal registration will be held on site. Players should arrive to their assigned starting tee ten minutes before their starting time to allow for the starter to go over instructions and rules of play. Player withdraws must be called in to the GSGA office at (678) 324-5974 or e-mailed to radams@gsga.org |
CADDIES |
A player may provide her own caddie. No caddies are available from Dogwood Golf Club. A player may not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during Sectional Qualifying or the Championship Proper. Caddies may rent a golf cart for $14.85 plus tax to transport a competitor’s golf bag on the day of qualifying. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. |
RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY |

PREFERRED LIES |
Per the USGA, for all USGA Championships and qualifying rounds, the following policy is in effect: A Local Rule authorizing “Preferred Lies” or “Winter Rules” is NEVER permitted. |
PERSONAL APPEARANCE |
In Local and Sectional Qualifying stages and the Championship proper, players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The Committee in charge decides whether this requirement has been met and has the authority to withdraw the entry of a player who does not comply. |
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE |
Breakfast items, lunch and beverages will be available in the grill throughout the day beginning at 7:30 a.m. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted for F & B purchases. |
PRIZES |
A Silver medal will be presented to the low scorer at the conclusion of the qualifying round. |
