The Collegiate Cup at the
95th Carolinas Women's Amateur Championship
About the Collegiate Cup: The Collegiate Cup is a team competition contested during the Carolinas Women's Amateur Championship. Players who are currently enrolled at a college/university, will be enrolled by September 15, 2021 at a college/university, or graduated from a college/university in 2021 are eligible to represent their school in the Collegiate Cup. The top-two 54-hole scores from players representing a college/university will be combined to create a team score. The lowest team score will win the Collegiate Cup.
Registration: Players who register for the Carolinas Women's Amateur will be asked to include the college/university they represent during tournament registration.
Team Size: Each college/university will only have ONE team representing their school. Therefore, some schools will be represented by only two players while others could be represented by five or more. The top-two 54-hole scores will count for the team score, regardless of how many players are on the team.
Prize: The two players whose scores count on the winning team will receive a prize.
Eligiblity: As a reminder, all players in the Carolinas Women's Amateur MUST meet tournament eligibility. Players MUST maintain a residence in North Carolina or South Carolina (be a legal resident of NC or SC; or enrolled and attends on-campus college/university in NC/SC; or lives in and has lived in NC/SC at least 5 of the previous 12 months prior to the tournament start date), be a member of a CGA member club, have an active GHIN Handicap Index issued by a CGA member club, and comply fully with USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
