96th Endicott Cup & Tri State Matches

Entry Fee: $125.00

Entries Open: 7/13/2021 at 10:00am

Entries Close: 9/16/2021 at 5:00pm

 

Eligibility:
Entries are open to amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club not exceeding 17.0 (as determined by the September 16, 2021 Handicap Revision), or who have completed their handicap certification.

 

Entry Procedures:

Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline.

 

Format:

Endicott Cup - 36-holes at Stroke Play
***Each state (MA, CT, RI) will then select a GROSS and NET team based on the results from the Endicott Cup***
Tri-State Matches - 18-holes at Match Play (gross) - 7 Team Members & 1 Alternate
Eaton Matches - 18-holes at Match Play (net) - 7 Team Members & 1 Alternate

 

Field:

The Championship Proper field is limited to a certain number of players per state - to be decided at a later date. Entries will be selected by index (low to high) as of the published handicap revision date. This is NOT a first come, first served championship.

 

Schedule:

Round 1 – Endicott Cup - October 5 (18 Holes)

Round 2 – Endicott Cup - October 6 (18 Holes)

Round 3 – Tri-State Matches - October 7 (18 Holes)
***Any tie for first place (gross) will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

 

Caddies & Automotive Transportation:

Cart fee is included in entry fee for rounds 1 & 2. Caddies and pull carts (at the host club(s) discretion) are permitted.

 

Starting Times:

Championship Proper Starting Times & Player Information will be emailed to all competitors shortly after the close of entries.

 

Practice Rounds:

Practice rounds privileges are at the discretion of the qualifying site and championship proper host club(s). Mass Golf will provide details surrounding the availability of practice rounds ahead of the scheduled event; please refrain from contacting the host clubs until specific details are received from Mass Golf.

 

Prizes:

Merchandise certificates (gross & net) will be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site.

 

Trophy:
Endicott Cup, Tri-State Bowl and Eaton Tri-State Handicap Trophy. (Trophies to be held by winners for one year)

Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

Competitors who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office (email preferred). Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified seven (7) days prior to the event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven (7) days prior to the event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event.
