FORMAT/QUALIFYING PLACES Qualifying places and alternate positions will be announced on the qualifying dates. All contestants will play the first 18-hole round scheduled for Tuesday, July 13. Upon its completion, the field will be cut for the second round scheduled for Wednesday, July 14, to the low 40% and ties of the total number of players that teed off in the first round. Those that advance will compete for the 2021 U.S. Amateur Championship to be played August 9 - 15 at Oakmont Country Club. |
PRACTICE ROUND One practice round per player. Practice rounds are for players only. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Capital City Club - Crabapple to reserve your practice round starting time. Practice round fees are $30 plus tax and must be paid regardless of whether or not the player chooses to walk or ride. Credit card ONLY will be accepted methods of payment in the golf shop.

YARDAGES & TEES The practice yardages are posted under the Player Information tab. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. |
GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. each day of competition. |
STARTING TIMES Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the USGA/GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on June 24. |
CADDIES Players may provide their own caddie. |
PRIZES A silver medal will be presented to the low scorer at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds. |
REGISTRATION No formal registration will be held on site. Players should arrive to their assigned starting tee ten minutes before their starting time to allow for the starter to go over instructions and rules of play. PREFFERED LIES In Qualifying stages and the Championship proper, players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The Committee in charge decides whether this requirement has been met, and has the authority to withdraw the entry of a player who does not comply. |

PERSONAL APPEARANCE In Local and Sectional Qualifying stages and the Championship proper, players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The Committee in charge decides whether this requirement has been met, and has the authority to withdraw the entry of a player who does not comply. The wearing of short pants is prohibited in the Championship proper, but is permissible in Local and Sectional Qualifying provided the host club does not have a dress code prohibiting such. |
