We are the Bear Creek Men's Golf Club (BCMGC) located in Chandler, Arizona.  From a membership perspective we are one of the largest mens club in the Valley of the Sun.  Our membership consists of double digit handicapers and single digit handicappers.  

 

On our home course well allow play to occur from three sets of tees at Par 71.

 

• Blue
  • This is the default tee we play from and all players can select these tees
  • Yardage is 6418 with a rating of 69.2 and slope rating of 114
• White
  • Optional tee location for those 60+ years.
  • Yardage is 5978 with a rating of 67.0 and slope rating of 109
• Red/White combination
  • Optional tee location for those 75+ years 
  • Yardage is 5469 with a rating of 64.5. and slope rating of 101
  • Red Tees = 1,3,6,7,9,11,14,17,18
  • White Tees = 2,4,5,8,10,12,13,15,16

 

As a rule we allow players to change their tee assignments one time per quarter.  This is to allow conistency and setup as we use a automated scoring real-time application to track scores.  In addition during our Saturday events our net flight division/game considers the rating/slope against the players handicap to level the playing field when players of the three possible tees are fairly treated.  This is handled via GLG.

 

Outside of times when we have special road trips or the course is unplayable, we tend to play on each and every Saturday morning at the Bear Creek Golf Complex Bear Course located on 500 East Riggs Road, just East of Arizona Avenue.
