Registration Fee: $210 per team. Entry fee includes cart fee.

 

Registration:  Opens Aug. 9 at 9 a.m. Closes Sept. 5 at 11:59 p.m.

 

Format: 18-hole gross and net stroke play. Selective drive, alternate shot. 60 percent of high handicap and 40 percent of low handicap.  There will be two divisions: Super Senior (fathers 65 years of age or older) and Championship.  Players will have their choice of playing in either division. The Super-Senior Division (both players) will play from a shorter set of tee markers. 

 

Eligibility: Open to father and son teams (sons 30 years of age or older) and stepfather and stepson teams. One member of a team must be a member of a GAP Member Club and hold a verified Handicap Index. If each team member holds a verifiable Handicap Index, then the team may compete for net prizes. Otherwise, it will be restricted to the gross competition only.

 

Teams are not permitted to play in more than one Father & Son in a calendar year. 

 

Players turning 18 after the Father & Son (Middle) but before the Father & Son (Younger) must play in the Father & Son (Middle). Players turning 30 after the Father & Son (Middle) but prior to the Father & Son (Older) must play in the Father & Son (Middle).

 

Field Size: Limited to the first 100 teams registered.

 

Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds are permitted for $65 including a required cart on the September 14 and 16 after 2pm. Players can schedule their practice rounds up to 7 days in advance by contacting the golf shop at (717) 394-8411. Conestoga Country Club accepts credit card and cash as forms of payment.

 

Starting Times: If field size warrants, morning and afternoon start on Nos. 1 and 10. A father may enter with two different sons. The rounds may not be played concurrently.

 

Automotive Transportation: Required. The $35 cart fee is included in your entry fee.

 

Ties: All ties to be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method.
