Participants are eligible to earn points in every regular Tampa Junior Tour Event. These points standings are used to determine the Player of the Year for each age division which will be awarded at the season ending championship each October. The end of season championship field will be determined by season point standings. The number of participants invited from each age division may differ based on the total number of participants in that age division. The breakdown of points available to be earned at each tournament is as follows:

1st Place 100
2nd Place 80
3rd Place 60
4th Place 40
5th Place 20

The Tampa Junior Tour season runs from April - October. Points do not roll over to a new age division in the event that a participant moves up to a new age division during a season. There are two options for participants who know they will move to a new age division during a season. They can either elect to play the entire season in the age division they would be moving up to or they can use the Tampa Junior Tour cutoff date to determine what age division they should play in if they age up during a season. The cutoff date for the upcoming 2024 season will be July 21st. Any child that has a birthday before that date will play the entire season in the older age division. Any child that has a birthday after that date will need to play in the younger age division.
