Middle-Amateur Championship Qualifying

Registration Fee: $170 per person for the championship. Qualifying fee Includes cart fee at qualifier.

 

Format: 18-hole individual stroke play. 

 

Eligibility: Open to male GAP Member Club golfers who are 25 years of age or older with a Handicap Index of 7.0 or lower.

 

Field Size: The field is limited to the first 78 players entered. 

 

Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds are available for $20 all weekdays in May leading to the qualifier. Players can schedule their practice rounds up to 7 days in advance by calling the golf shop at (570) 233-5329. Players may walk or ride for the practice round while the cart is an additional $30 for the practice round. Valley CC accepts credit cards and cash. 

 

Starting Times: If field size warrants, morning start on Nos. 1 and 10 beginning at 7:30 am.

 

Automotive Transportaton: Automotive transportation is required. The $35 cart fee has been added to your entry fee

 

Qualifying Positions: The number of qualifying positions available is based on the number of exempt entries and the number of entries at the qualifying sites. This information will be available in the Players Information after the entry close. 

 

Ties: The qualifying number and ties will gain entrance into the Championship. There will be no playoff for qualifying positions or alternates.
