CGA Match Play Championship Qualifier #3 - The Broadlands Golf Course

 

 

 

 

Multiple Registrations: Players may only register for only one (1) qualifier per CGA championship, which does not include the “Last Chance Qualifier”, when applicable. Players may register for the “Last Chance Qualifier” on a space-available basis before or after their first qualifier. The "Last Chance Qualifier" is not limited to players who have already competed in a qualifying round. The "Last Chance Qualifier" may be used as a player's first and only qualifying round.

Host Course: The Broadlands Golf Course

 

Qualifying Date: Tuesday, June 1st

 

Registration Deadline: 11:59 p.m. MT Wednesday, May 20th.

 

Eligibility: Open to all active amateur CGA Members regardless of handicap index.

 

Format: 18 holes of stroke play at gross scoring.

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players

 

Qualifying Positions: 16 (final spots will be determined by scorecard playoff procedures)

 

Pairings: Pairings and starting times will be posted no later than Monday, May 24th.

 

Starting Times: 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. off hole #1 only.

 

Qualifying Entry Fee: $95.00 for qualifying only. Successful qualifiers will need to pay an additional $155.00 for entry into the Championship.

 

Carts: Players may rent a cart at the player's expense. There is a MAXIMUM of 2 carts per group.

 

Driving Range: The practice facilities will be available at 6:15 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

 

Caddies/Spectators: Players may bring their own caddie provided the caddie adheres to social distancing. Spectators are also allowed provided they stay on the cart paths.

 

Holing Out: There is no foam in the cups and flagsticks may be removed.

 

Bunkers: There are no rakes on the course. Please CLICK HERE to view the addendum on bunker procedures without rakes.

 

Mobile Scoring: Players will score on their cell phones. Please CLICK HERE to view the mobile scoring instructions.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Allowed, provided they measure distance only.

 

Practice Rounds: Available at the posted rate.

Score Posting: The CGA will post all scores to GHIN as competition scores.
