Thank you for your entry into the 69th Oregon Men’s Stroke Play Championship, August 6 - 8, 2021, at Emerald Valley Club, Creswell, Ore.
Pairings: Click the link below for starting times for the first round on Friday, August 6th and the second round on Saturday, August 7th. Please note your starting time is different each day. After the second round, the Open Division, Master 40 Division and the Senior Division will each be cut to the low half of the field plus ties. All Divisions will be repaired by gross score for Sunday’s final round with the Seniors teeing off first beginning at 7:30 a.m. The leaders in all divisions will tee off last within their division. Players should expect to receive a text message and/ or email with their starting time for Sunday’s final round.

Practice Round: Players may call the Emerald Valley Golf Shop (541-895-2174), at any time to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds are available on a space available basis and after 1pm Friday through Sunday. Contestants are eligible for one complimentary practice round. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. You must identify yourself as a Stroke Play Championship Contestant in order to receive your free practice round. Players who wish to use their practice round are expected to abide by all club rules including pace of play.
Course Yardage: As a reminder, the Men’s Open and Master 40 Divisions will play from the same yardages, the Senior Division will play from a separate yardage. (Yardages are subject to change at any time by the Committee.)

Tournament Information & Results: Will all be provided digitally on the OGA’s website or through the USGA Tournament Management App, GGID: 21ORSPCHAMP. No onsite scoreboard will be available.
PRACTICE: The OGA will host warm up range balls for contestants. Limited time on driving range and practice putting green prior to round will be permitted.
Registration: There will not be any registration, tee prizes will be handed out after the first round.
Golf Carts: Stroke Play contestants in the Senior Division only may utilize motorized carts. Single riding carts will be available, cart fees must be paid by the contestant at the time of rental. As a reminder, please observe any cart path restrictions posted by Emerald Valley.
Dress Code: Proper attire must be worn at all times. Proper attire does not include spandex body wear, cutoffs, running shorts, short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts, or denim of any kind or color, or unkempt clothing of any kind. Neat and clean pants, slacks, cords, or appropriately hemmed, tailored shorts no more than 6 inches above the knee (men’s shorts must have a minimum of three pockets) are acceptable, as are sweaters and sweatshirts, golf shirts must have collars. Shoes must be worn at all times. Contestants not in compliance with the OGA Dress Code will be Disqualified from the Championship.
OGA Pace of Play Guidelines: will be in effect during the Championship. Pace of Play guidelines will be available before each round at the starter’s tent.

Score Posting: will be done by the OGA for each round after the Championship has been completed. The OGA will post each player’s adjusted score to GHIN as a tournament score, for handicapping purposes.

Format and Prizes: 54-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the low half of the field plus ties in each Division after 36-holes. Merchandise certificates will be awarded to the top gross finishers in all Divisions. The overall gross Champion in each Division will also be awarded a trophy. There are No Net Prizes.
